I hope everyone is well! The sun has finally agreed to bestow upon us here in London. It was so bright and sunny that it almost felt like summer had arrived. For me, summer is all about wearing rich and vibrant colours, bold prints and comfortable clothing. I guess Missa More clothing caters to all my summer proclivity and I really loved wearing this beautiful printed moss crepe called the ‘Ace Of Spades’. I loved the detailing of the slits and the buttons till the waist. The overall look is stylish yet comfy. Perfect for a summer day out.
I want to share a little story behind this Missa More top with you all. My mother-in-law is visiting us here in London. Since I have not been to India this year, I was dying to do some Indian shopping sitting here in London. She’s a sweetheart and agreed to bring all my indian shopping with her. Being an online junkie, I loved the experience of shopping at Missa More’s website. They have some great collection of dresses, tops, outwear, accessories etc. I selected this printed moss crepe which is also available in pink. The material is light, the colour is very summer ready and as I said earlier, its super comfy and perfect for a day out.
The Look Styled With Missa More!
I have teamed this top with a pair of white H&M jeans and finished the look with cobalt blue pumps to compliment the vibrant yellow. Since I wanted to keep the look a bit on the fusion side, I have accessorised it with gold and pearl embellished jhumkas from India. The main accentuating point of this look is the buttons till the waist which makes the top a bit different from other designs thus contributing to a very chic and stylish look. I loved the shoulder detailing; it has a puffed shoulder look due to which the shoulder looks sleek and perfect.
The photos are taken in front of St Paul’s Cathedral, an iconic place in London. I always try to select locations according to the outfit, its colour and how the overall thing will look on the lens. The beauty of this top lies in the slits flowing in the air and I wanted to do the photoshoot somewhere on the steps of a grand and gigantic building, with a little breeze in the air for which London is always known for hehe! I think the overall look came together so well that I am in love with myself and the top (of course). 🙂
So Ladies out there, a Missa More top, a pair of gorgeous shoes, a stunning pair of jhumkas, bright lips and last but not the least an attitude to carry yourself, that’s all you need to get ready for decadent summer!!!
Have a lovely week everyone!
And as always
Stay healthy, Stay fashionable. 🙂
