Hello everyone! How are you all? I am good. I had an amazing make-up haul. It feels amazing when you go around shopping and don’t spend a penny from your pocket. Yes, I did not pay for anything, thanks to my lovely husband.
My first stop was boots:
I picked this lovely colour called Pom Pom by Soap & Glory. It has a matte effect which is very creamy and moisturizing, so now you know matte doesn’t always have to be dry. The color gives a knock of plum on the lips. It fades quicker; I guess that’s because of the velvety or silkier finish. The packaging is attractive; it’s metallic so there is an audible ‘click’ when you put the lid on.
Coming to the next one – 077 Asia by Rimmel London. I like their products a lot, so no doubt I was pretty confident while choosing the colour. Talking about the colour it has a ‘wintery’ nude effect; creamy and sheen. Perfect for daywear.
Next Stop was Superdrug and Debenhams:
Shade 16 & 2 by MUA Lipsticks-I am using MUA for the first time. The colours are attractive and the price is very affordable. I liked shade 16 more than 2; it’s a peachy orangeish with a satin finish. The texture is very smooth. So those who are looking for lipsticks within the budget this will be a good buy.
Coming to the Blusher, let me tell you one thing, I love a blusher more than anything else. The one you can see in the picture is by I Heart Makeup and I absolutely love using it. I went for one of the triple baked blushers- Blushing hearts. They come in a range of blushers, bronzers and highlighters. The packaging is like love at first sight. The shades have a touch of shimmer which I usually prefer in blushers. I can definitely say that buying this will be totally worthwhile. A big thumbs up to this product.
Precision Face Brush by Bare Minerals
It is one of the best brushes I have used so far for application of liquid foundation or pressed powder. The design of the brush head helps to blend the foundation so well that it gives a flawless looking face. I will highly recommend this brush to those who are looking for smoothness and velvety effect.
Lastly the Revolution eye shadow palette – I am really impressed with the quality as they last quite long without fading or creasing. The shades are wonderful. It has a mixture of satin, shimmer and matte. The striped design looks very similar to the Urban Decay naked palette. The packaging is average. Overall it’s a very good buy. I can say playing with these eye shadows will now be a ‘Revolution’.
