Hello everyone! So we are gradually coming to the end of this year. Every day I look out of my window, I see the leaves starting to fall which makes me feel as if they are preparing for the next season. It’s been truly said ‘change is the only constant in life’.
London looks beautiful and transforms into a kaleidoscope of rich colours and lights during this time of the year. Everywhere in London there has to be a beautiful spot near your vicinity where you can go and enjoy the changing colours of the season.
As a lover of autumn colours, here is my second take on the colours of the season I love to wear. I have done another post on Autumnal tones. Rich colours like burgundy, orange, plum, berry, mustard etc. are the season’s staples.
I love pastels blended with the autumnal berry hues. These two colours look absolutely gorgeous when put together in one outfit. This combination which portrays a feminine touch is the season’s perfect wear for a day or night both. To accentuate the feeling of the seasonal change I have accessorised it with a pastel woollen beret from Dorothy Perkins, keeping the shoes neutral. The handbag is a recent buy from Zara (one of my favourite highstreet stores) and goes very well with this outfit. To add a bit of edginess, you can wear black boots instead of the neutral pumps I am wearing. Both of them will look nice with this outfit. I was in love with everything about this day, a fantastic location, beautiful weather, mouth-watering lunch, cosy coffee break and a romantic walk in the park glowing in the late afternoon sun.
LIPSTICKS I USED : I have used two shades, a deep pink berry shade Rebel by MAC which can be used if you are planning this outfit for night and a nude shade Taupe by MAC which will look gorgeous for a day look. 🙂
As I said, there are numerous spots everywhere in London where we can go, sit and enjoy the autumn colours. We chose Chelsea and one of the beautiful mews in this area. Chelsea is marvellous, London version of the upper-east side. Classy houses, expensive cars and posh streets. The house covered with the red leaves is like a dream house, so beautiful and took me to a different world altogether. There are cute little cafes all around Chelsea and being a coffee lover we had coffee and a very simple yet delicious lunch at this newly opened branch of Fulham Tarts (it was in Chelsea, though). We heard that this café is often frequented by the likes of Dustin Hoffman and Johnny Depp. However, it wasn’t our lucky day and once lunch was over we went over to the Kensington Palace Gardens to capture some more of the lovely autumn colours.
Enjoy the festive season!
Stay Healthy, Stay Fashionable 🙂
