It’s just a few more days to Christmas and what an amazing week it has been! Thank you Marks and Spencer India team for taking me on-board for this lovely experience. If you have been following me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter you will probably know how I have enjoyed every bit of it.
Winter is finally here and in this post I want to share the look I created by picking out some items from the beautiful on-trend Winter collection at Marks and Spencer store Marble Arch. It was a cold and gloomy day when I stepped out of home with a Starbucks hot chocolate and headed towards the M&S Store in Marble Arch, London. What a cheerful day it turned out to be from the moment I entered the store. I have been to this store several times before but Marks and Spencer India team really made it special for me this time.
M&S Marble Arch Store, Oxford Street- It’s a huge store amidst the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. As it was before Christmas, the whole place was decked up with fairy lights and Christmas trees which turned my festive spirit on as I started browsing through items in the store. From faux fur to woollen capes and neutral coloured hats with suede boots, an epitome of luxury, all of them were waiting to be tried on. But the moment I spotted this chiffon green floral printed maxi dress, I knew that I did not need to look any further. It was the picture I had in my mind when I first started thinking about styling a look on Bohemian Romance this winter.
My Bohemian Romance Look- I was getting excited with the way the look was taking shape when I was trying on the outfits at the store. The idea behind this outfit was to accentuate the summer bohemian essence for winter by pairing this floral printed maxi dress, which is very evocative of the vintage style, with a faux fur gilet. I rounded off my shopping by going for a leather chevron belt to complete the whole look. To bring out that bohemian spirit inside me I also added some statement finger rings, a braided head band and a fringe cross body from my wardrobe. As it’s an ankle length maxi dress, boots really look good and help build the winter look.
Location- I love to do photoshoots for the blog in beautiful locations and I feel lucky to be in London where there is no dearth of beautiful places. This time it was the iconic set of five red phone booths opposite the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden where we took some good shots wearing this beautiful outfit . Posing in front of the red London phone booths, I really enjoyed the photoshoot with my talented husband without whom this day would not have been half as enjoyable. By the time we finished, the whole area was teeming with people who were out for some frantic last minute shopping as this was the last weekend before Christmas. We decided to have a quick brunch at a nearby pub and headed back home as I couldn’t wait to see the photos on the bigger screen.
Hope you like the outfit. Head over to your nearest M&S store to style your own Boho Chic look. I would love to see how it goes.
Happy Holidays everyone! Enjoy and have a lovely time with your near and dear ones because Santa Clause is coming to town.
And as always
Stay healthy, Stay fashionable. 🙂
