The garlic butter fish with the creamy soft potato mash is a heavenly combination and if you haven’t tried yet then delve straight away into this easy recipe!
- Salmon fillet
- 4 tbsp butter ( can put more if you want)
- Juice of lemon (1/2)
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 1/2 tbsp mixed herb (oregano+ thyme+parsley)
- Salt + Pepper
Preheat your oven to 180-190 C
Lay the lemon slices onto the foil and place the salmon on top of them.
Now in a pan slightly fry the garlic and butter together, turn off the heat and then just mix the mixed herbs to it and pour that delicious sauce over the salmon.
Sprinkle some salt and pepper
Fold the foil and make sure the ends are nicely tucked and sealed!
Place it in the oven for 15-20 mins until cooked through!
Preparation for the potato mash!
4-5 big sized potatoes
1/2 small cup milk
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp cream
Salt to taste
White pepper (optional)
Put it all in a bowl and mash it nicely and wallah! Its time for you to dig in to the creamy velvety mash with a delicious garlic butter salmon!
